HOW TO DRESS WELL : 5 TIPS FOR MEN.

Sadly, men have fewer options than women when it comes to clothing. But that doesn’t give you the leeway to be shabbily dressed for any occasion. Your fashion sense can have a huge impact on your personality and confidence. If you have a good fashion sense you will feel more confident about yourself and that’s what the ultimate goal is. So, in today’s blog I’m giving you top five simple tips to dress better for men in India.

Welcome to - Live Bold And Bloom With Ishika.

#1. Shoes - You can’t talk about men’s fashion unless you talk about shoes. Shoes absolutely complete all your outfits and unfortunately, in lot of cases it’s what Indian guys look past. They think if they are wearing good T-shirt and good pants, they don’t have to bother about the shoes they are combining with that combination. They either go for sports shoes or bulky ones with every single outfit. If you wanna look classy always go for flat sole shoes. Always remember that shoes completely change the look of the outfits and the personality of the wearer.

#2. Combination - The core of today’s blog is color combinations and clothing combinations. As a guy your number one fashion rule in life is to learn combination. One of the most common and most classy combination is a pair of regular dark blue jeans paired with plain black T-Shirt. You need to remember some classic combinations for instance, white shirt paired with a pair of blue jeans. The more you experiment, the more you try out new outfits, the better you educate yourself on men’s fashion.

#3. Accessories - Accessories includes layers, wrist bands, rings and other things but what I feel is a classic dressing is all about keeping it classic. And the classic way of showing people could be done by using watches. Watches kind off convey to the other person that you’re a busy guy, you’re a guy for whom time matters a lot and of course just like shoes they complete the look of your entire outfit. Aesthetic, functional, rugged sports models of watches go with anything and can take the hard knocks of everyday wear.

#4. Don't Shy Away From Colour - Whether it’s on casualwear or formalwear, indulge in a bit of colour. "Most men are unjustly scared of it - they're intimidated by anything that isn't navy or grey.” For instance, A green suit, brighter shades of blue or a mustard shade are some versatile colours that will lift your entire outfit.

#5. Layer-Up - Knowing how to layer clothes will give you ultimate use out of everything in your closet, and it will help you create more interesting outfits. For instance, you can layer your collared shirt with a crew neck pullover and a trench coat to look cool. Layering lets you play around with the clothes you have, so you should learn how to do it properly.

Bonus Tip - Look effortless, not bother-less. With great style comes the great responsibility of looking effortlessly fashionable. A grown man shouldn’t look like he has spent hours meticulously orchestrating his outfit in front of a mirror. And not just your clothes. Your hair, shoes, socks, and accessories like glasses,a leather belt, and wrist watch – everything should have a casual yet stylish look. You still want to look like you know what you’re doing.

If you’re serious about taking your style to the next level, pick one small thing you want to improve, and work yourself up from there. (I recommend starting with #2) So, what small step will you take today? If you enjoyed this post, please comment and share with friends! In the previous blog, we learnt about body language tips and habits of extremely confident individuals. In the second part, We’ll go over your stance and posture .    • STANCE AND POSTURE- Start with your feet shoulders width apart, and    your toes pointing outwards. This is considered open body language. If your legs are crossed or you have one leg behind the other - this type of body language is called closed body language and is associated with fear, anxiety, defence and lack of confidence - traits that are not so attractive. On the other hand, open body language is associated with power and confidence, so feet and shoulder width apart and toes pointing outwards. Bonus tips for your feet and legs is to take big steps. Shuffling and creeping makes you look nervous. Take firm strides.  • ARMS: Don’t cross your arms. CONFIDENCE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS.

Love yourself instead of loving the idea of other people loving you. I know what you’re thinking….easier said than done, right? Nobody is born with high or low self-confidence. Confidence is a feeling that people develop and work on over time. For most people, confidence is something that comes and goes. Confidence isn’t walking into a room thinking that you’re better than anyone. It’s walking in knowing that you don’t have to compare yourself to anyone. Comparing yourself to another person that isn’t even in your system there’s no thought of comparison. There is no competition with any other human. You are not above anyone, you are not below anyone. That’s confidence! Self confidence is a super power. Once you start to believe in yourself, magic starts happening. And I’m sure you all have experienced this in one time or another where you have really felt self confidence in yourself. When you see a negative feedback coming your way that is criticism you try to become a little defensive...
